Students in the Year 9 Drama elective have completed their first CAT ‘Improvisation and Dramatic Elements’. Students worked in small groups to devise a scenario based on their reaction to a stimulus art work. Having reacted appropriately to Munch’s ‘The Scream’, students created horror plays ranging from abductions and kidnapping, murders, violence and love stories gone wrong. They wrote planned improvisations involving scripts that contained room for improvisation as the play developed.
