VCE Unit 2 Ag Hort students are currently learning about plant structure, function, growth stages and reproduction in relation to agricultural and horticultural crops, pasture species, vines and trees.

Dylan and Chloe are seen here planting various summer vegetable seeds which were then placed into mini greenhouses for a few weeks to germinate before being planted out into the Patch. These students also completed the ‘celery experiment’, demonstrating how water moves through the xylem from the roots, up the stem and then transpiring from the leaves.
