End Of Year Concert

Friday 23 October

The Music Departments biggest night of the year, our End of Year Concert, will be held in the Frankston Arts Centre commencing 7.00pm on the evening of Friday 23 October. A dazzling showcase of our school’s musical talent, the concert will feature not only our concert bands, stage bands and choir but will also show case our solo and group performances from our VCE 3 and 4 Music Performance students.

Tickets are now on sale but can only be purchased from the theatre, either by using the link below or in person from the theatre box office between 10.00am and 5.30pm

Please Note: All matters concerning tickets are to be addressed through the theatre and not the school.

Don’t forget to tell all the friends and relatives as the bigger the audience, the better we play. Looking forward to seeing on what is always a fantastic night.

Voices of Frankston

Voices of Frankston is a wonderful local community choir who invite our students to perform with them each year:

• The choir is directed by Ms Peta Laughlin and Ms Danielle Bretherton.
• Clarinet Ensemble directed by Ms Gillian Kinnear.

Both these groups work very hard giving up their lunchtimes for weekly rehearsals. 

Special congratulations to Amity Brumbaugh who will perform one of her VCE solos for the audience that she will be performing for he final VCE Music performance exam next week.

All these students will also be performing at our End of Year Concnert, Friday 23 October at the Frankston Arts Centre.

Year 12 VCE Music Exams

We wish all our Year 12 students and accompanying students the best for their final music performance exams. October is a busy month for the Music department as each weekend teachers and students are traveling and moving music equipment to different schools and music venues across Melbourne. Thank you Ms Peta Laughlin and the whole Music team for all their work with VCE students across the year and helping them with their final performances.
