Celebrating Creativity at the 2026 Arts Exhibition

Term 4 once again brought a spectacular celebration of creativity to Frankston High School, with our annual Arts Exhibition showcasing the outstanding talent and imagination of almost 500 students. The Presentation Space and adjoining classrooms were transformed into a vibrant gallery, featuring an inspiring range of work across Visual Arts, Media, Visual Communication Design and Music.

Opening Night on Tuesday 12 October welcomed students, families and members of the local community to celebrate our young artists and their achievements. Our guest speaker, alumna Nicky Johnston, opened the night and spoke about her journey through the Arts and how her passion for drawing was nurtured when a teacher recognised her talent in Year 9. Nicky is now an acclaimed illustrator and author, and amazed the audience with her stories and advice. The awards ceremony recognised outstanding work across Years 7–12, celebrating the creativity, skill and dedication of our students. Congratulations to all students who exhibited their work and to our award recipients on their well-deserved recognition.

We extend our sincere thanks to our generous sponsors and community partners:

Atelier Art Supplies;Down The Street Cafe; Area Specialist Real Estate – Ellis Schofield; Ivan's Pies; JB Hi-Fi Frankston; Marshall White Real Estate; Peninsula Camera House; Rotary Club of Frankston; Siser Printer; Vicinity Centres (Bayside Shopping Centre). Their support helped make the event memorable and provided valuable recognition of our students’ achievements.

We are also grateful to our Arts teachers and staff for their expertise, enthusiasm and countless hours of preparation, as well as our student volunteers, Food Technology volunteers, Principal Team and Finance Department for their contributions. Special thanks to Ms Donovan, Mr Christie and Ms Bailey for their support in bringing the exhibition together.

The 2026 Arts Exhibition was a wonderful celebration of the creativity, ambition and achievements of our students. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and the way our school community came together to celebrate the arts and their power to inspire self-expression, innovation and connection.

Congratulations to all our student artists and everyone who helped make this year's exhibition such a success!
