NAPLAN 2026

In March 2026, Sandringham College administered NAPLAN testing for Year 7 and Year 9 students on the Bluff Road Campus. Testing took place across a scheduled window, with additional catch-up sessions held to ensure all students had the opportunity to participate.
At Sandringham College, we are conscious not to add stress by “overly preparing or drilling” students in preparation for this assessment. Instead, students are exposed to the style of assessment they experience in NAPLAN through their regular classroom learning, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident.
NAPLAN assessed students across four key areas:
Writing
Reading
Language Conventions (Spelling and Punctuation)
Numeracy
Sandringham College remains committed to supporting all learners. Students with a disability were able to access appropriate adjustments, determined on a case-by-case basis in consultation with families, to support their participation.
We are proud of the way our students approached NAPLAN and thank our staff and families for their support throughout the process.
