Scienceworks Excursion
About 100 Year 7 students attended an exciting excursion to Scienceworks, where they explored a range of interactive exhibits, participated in hands-on science activities, and enjoyed engaging live demonstrations. Students also experienced an informative Planetarium show, which deepened their understanding of space and astronomy. The excursion provided students with the opportunity to connect their classroom learning with real-world scientific concepts in a fun and engaging environment.

Science Physic Lesson
Year 8 Science students recently explored the fascinating world of physics through a hands-on investigation into static electricity. Using balloons, students demonstrated how friction can cause electrical charges to transfer between objects. By rubbing balloons on their hair, they observed how the movement of electrons created static charge, causing their hair to stand up. This engaging experiment helped students deepen their understanding of how charges can change and transfer through friction, bringing scientific concepts to life in a fun and interactive way.
