SPORTS ACADEMIES PROGRAM

At Mickleham Secondary College, we are proud to continue building opportunities for students through our Rugby and Cricket Academy programs in partnership with Academy Movement, Rugby Australia, Cricket Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades.

Our Academies are about far more than sport. They are designed to support student engagement, academic achievement, wellbeing, leadership, connection and pathways for future success both within and beyond school.

Students involved in the Academies participate in specialised coaching, strength and conditioning, mentoring, leadership development and accredited learning opportunities connected to the sports industry. The programs aim to develop discipline, teamwork, resilience and a strong sense of belonging whilst supporting students to strive for success in the classroom and community.

As a young and growing school, we are incredibly excited about the positive impact these programs are already having on our students and wider community.
