It is an incredibly busy and exciting time for our Year 12 students. They are deeply immersed in shaping their futures through individual consultations with our dedicated careers team, completing their final School-Assessed Coursework (SACs), and beginning their intensive revision for the forthcoming final exams.
Year 12 students are set to officially conclude their classes on Friday 18 October. The ensuing holidays will be busy for those finishing a Year 12 subject. To support their preparation, the school has arranged a series of revision lectures during the first week of the holidays. In the following week, students will have the opportunity to participate in practice exams designed to simulate the final exam environment.
Please see below for details of the Unit 3-4 Practice Exam Timetable, which will run during the upcoming term holidays from Mon 30 September to Fri 4 October.
We are eagerly anticipating the chance to celebrate the culmination of the school year with our Year 12 students. In the final week of school, a variety of themed dress-up days will add an element of fun and festivity, leading up to a special movie evening on Friday 18 October, where students can relax and enjoy each other's company.
On Monday 21 October, we will host a celebratory breakfast for Year 12 students and their families. This will be followed by the final assembly, which has been thoughtfully developed and organized by the students themselves. This assembly will be a memorable highlight, showcasing their creativity and hard work.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Valedictory celebration will take place on 22 November at Caulfield Racecourse. This new venue, chosen for its larger capacity and state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, is set to provide an exceptional graduation experience for our students. The upgraded setting will accommodate our growing student body and ensure a memorable and impressive conclusion to their secondary education journey.
