Lunchtime Futsal championships

Term 3 saw 16 teams battle it out across four competitions for the title of Futsal champions. 

In the Year 7 Boys comp, Portugal def Brazil 2-1 in extra time in an incredibly close match. In the Junior Girls final Ireland def Argentina 1-0 after Annie J scored the lone goal in another close encounter. In the Year 8 Boys final 2nd place Scotland upset Germany 3-0 despite there being a large number of goal shots. In the Year 9/10/11 Boys final, it was a battle of the brothers with the Year 11 team Italy winning 8-3 in a high scoring final over Iraq. 

An awesome competition and we are looking forward to next year!!
