The day was celebrated at BHHS with students getting involved in making badges, face paint and different activities in the library during lunchtime. This is a day that BHHS shares in supporting our rainbow youth community to access the same opportunities as their peers.
Our Mental Health Practitioner, Diana Ma, has undertaken specialist training this year in body image and improving youth mental health. In Term 3 we ran a week dedicated to activities exploring body image issues and how we create positive body awareness.
Our Year 8 students supported by Year 11 students have organised a fabulous set of lunchtime activities for our school to improve awareness on how each of us can show curiosity and empathy in how we support our friends and peers.
