Y7: Transition to Secondary

Our new Year 7 students have officially completed few weeks of their transition into Secondary, and it has been wonderful to see them begin their 2026 journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

Following a well-structured transition program that commenced in late 2025, students have settled smoothly into their new routines, subjects, and learning spaces. Many of the natural questions and concerns that typically accompany the move from Primary to Secondary were thoughtfully addressed during last year’s transition activities, allowing students to start the academic year feeling prepared, supported, and reassured.

As the weeks progress, students are already demonstrating growing independence and responsibility - an important milestone in their educational journey. At Islamic College of Melbourne, we are grateful for the opportunity to guide our students through this significant stage with care, encouragement, and the Islamic values that help nurture strong character and confidence.

We pray that Allah (SWT) grants our Year 7 students continued success, growth, and abundant barakah throughout the year ahead.
