All School: Meet the Teachers Night

This term, the College was pleased to welcome families onto campus for our Primary and Secondary Meet the Teachers Nights, providing valuable opportunities for connection, communication, and collaboration between home and school.
Our Primary Meet the Teachers Nights offered parents and caregivers the chance to meet their children’s teachers, gain insight into classroom expectations, and learn more about the learning journey ahead. These evenings reinforced the importance of a strong home–school partnership in supporting each child’s academic growth and wellbeing.
Foundation families also participated in a dedicated Phonics Parent Workshop, which highlighted the importance of phonemic awareness in early literacy development. Parents were introduced to practical strategies and resources to help nurture confident and capable readers at home.
For families of students in Years 3 to 6, the evening included the announcement of the 2026 Primary School Student Representative Council (SRC). This proud moment celebrated emerging leadership and the positive role of student voice within our school community.
Alongside the Primary sessions, our Secondary Meet the Teachers Night also took place this week, welcoming families to engage with teachers and learn more about subject expectations, academic pathways, and the wellbeing support structures in place across the Secondary years. The evening emphasised the shared responsibility between home and school in guiding students as they grow in independence, responsibility, and character.
A special highlight of the evening was the return of our DUX and High Achieving students, who were formally recognised for their outstanding academic accomplishments. It was a pleasure to welcome them back to campus and celebrate their dedication and excellence.
In recognition of their achievements, the College proudly awarded over $40,000 in prizes to our DUX and High Achievers. Throughout the evening, students received their awards and participated in a group photograph with the College Principal, marking a proud and memorable moment for both the students and our wider school community. Their presence provided a meaningful opportunity for families, staff, and current students to honour the perseverance, commitment, and high standards they have demonstrated.
We sincerely thank our families and staff for their strong engagement and commitment to working together in nurturing confident, capable, and values-driven young people. May Allah (SWT) place barakah in these partnerships and continue to guide our students towards success, insha’Allah.
