As we close out Term 3, all students are making positive progress in their personal development, health and physical education programs, both inside and outside the classroom.
Stage 4
Year 7 students have recently finalised their 'Positive Relationships' unit, having completed their assessment task earlier this term. Looking ahead to Term 4, their will transition into the 'Between the Flags' unit, where they will explore important water safety knowledge to build their confidence around water environments.
Meanwhile, Year 8 students are finishing up their 'Cyber Safety' unit as they prepare for their yearly exam scheduled for Term 4, Week4. Completing their classroom learning, they are actively engaged in modified games that focus on developing their striking and fielding skills, promoting physical fitness alongside digital literacy.
Stage 5
Year 9 students are finalising their 'Sexual Education' unit, with the course assessment task due in the last week of Term3. Following this, they will explore the 'Kindness Project' unit, exploring themes of inclusion and positive relationships.
Year 10 students have recently completed their annual exams and are now preparing for their final assessment task in Term 4. This unit concentrations on resistance training and encourages students to develop sustainable, long-term healthy lifestyle habits.
Stage 6
As we reach the end of Term 3, we extend our best wishes to all Year 11 students who are commencing their preliminary assessments over the next two weeks. At the same time, we congratulate the Year 12 Class of 2026 on successfully completing their high school education. We wish them all the best as they prepare for their HSC examinations, and we look forward to seeing what the future may bring.
