From the Principal

Term 3 is almost at an end, and we currently have Year 11 completing formal exams. It is important that every student prepares well for the exams, engaging in study and revision, and bringing correct equipment, so that they are able to perform at their best. 

As we approach the conclusion of formal schooling for our Year 12 students this term, we are immensely proud of their hard work and dedication as they prepare for the HSC exams commencing in Term 4. The recent visits from NESA marking teams, who assessed practical performances in Music and major projects for Industrial Technology - Timber, have once again highlighted the exceptional standard of work our students are producing. 

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our Year 12 students at the Graduation and Formal events in the last week of this term. 

I would also like to recognise the efforts of our outgoing school captains. James, Lochlann, Mayah, Jemma and Jye have been fantastic role models and ambassadors for Camden High School. They are amazing young people, and it has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside them. 

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our dedicated staff, whose unwavering commitment continues to inspire and support students both academically and through a wide range of extracurricular activities. Their expertise and encouragement play a vital role in fostering a positive and enriching learning environment, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel and reach their full potential. Together, we are proud to nurture the talents and passions of our students, preparing them for success both during their school years and beyond. 

This  term we also celebrated PSA Schools  Recognition Week, and I want to take this opportunity to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of our school administrative and support staff. Whether working in administration, school learning support, student wellbeing, school maintenance or specialist support roles, our support staff are at the heart of the work we do every day. The theme for this year’s PSA Recognition Week, “Thriving Schools Start With Us,” perfectly captures the vital role school support staff play in delivering a world-class public education system across NSW. Our school administrative and support staff are fundamental to the success of our school and the wellbeing of our students. 

At Camden High School, our motto, “Together We Achieve,” reminds us that these achievements would not be possible without the commitment and collaboration of every member of our school community - including our dedicated support staff, and we thank them for the professionalism, dedication and expertise as essential members of the Camden High School team.
