Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our families for their ongoing support. Your partnership has been invaluable, and together we have created a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for every child.

This year, we proudly continued our implementation of Direct Instruction and Explicit Instruction across the school. These approaches have enabled us to deliver high-quality teaching and achieve outstanding learning and wellbeing outcomes for our students. We have seen remarkable growth in confidence, skill development, and academic progress, and we are incredibly proud of what our children have achieved.

As we prepare to farewell our Year 6 students, we celebrate their accomplishments and the leadership they have shown throughout their time at our school. We wish them all the very best as they transition to secondary school and take on new challenges and opportunities.

We are currently in the process of interviewing candidates for the 2026 School Captain positions. We have been so impressed by the maturity, passion, and enthusiasm shown by all applicants. The successful captains will be announced and presented with their badges at the final assembly next Friday.

We are winding down another fantastic year at Tarneit Rise Primary School. The school is buzzing with excitement for the year ahead — meeting our new classes and teachers — while also feeling the bittersweet nature of all the “lasts.”

Today marked our final Breakfast Club for 2025; our after-school clubs will finish next week, the choir is filling our mornings with Christmas carols, and we are enjoying the final incursions and excursions of the year.

As the holidays approach, we encourage you to enjoy this special time with your children—slow down, make memories, and cherish the moments that come with a well-earned break.

Thank you once again for your trust, your kindness, and your continued partnership. We hope you all enjoy a safe, restful, and joyful holiday period, and we look forward to another exciting year ahead.

Warm regards,

Nadia, Sarah, Alana, Gemma, Adam, Stephen, Ali, Lauren  & Missy
