Year 3 News

From Ahmed Al- Hameli, Year 3B teacher

Positive Contributions to our School Community

Last week our Grade 3 students completed their NAPLAN assessments, and we are incredibly proud of the effort and determination they showed throughout the week.

The students approached each test with a positive mindset and worked hard to do their very best. It was wonderful to see them applying the reading, writing and language skills we have been practising in class, as well as supporting one another by staying focused during the assessments.

Well done to all of our Year 3 students for showing such resilience and commitment!

JSRC

We are also excited to announce the selection of our Grade 3 representatives for the Junior School Representative Council (JSRC)

Congratulations to Aqleema and Jay, who have been chosen to represent our class.

The JSRC is an important opportunity for students to share ideas, represent their classmates, and help make positive contributions to our school community. We look forward to seeing the great ideas and leadership they will bring to the role.

A message from Aqleema:

Hi Grade 3, I’m Aqleema and I am very happy that I am one of the JSRC members this year.

I think my talents will help me to improve Grade 3 to another level! Some of my talents include creative ideas and I can help organise very fun excursions or amazing days at school. One thing I would love to change is to host a Whole School Talent Show where everyone could share their talents. At NMPS, I love how we do incursions and excursions and I would love to help organise lots of fun places for us to go!

Some of my hobbies include taekwondo, drawing and Arabic lessons. If you see me anywhere at school, please tell me your ideas so I can share them at the JSRC meetings!
