Happy Book Week everyone!

We had a fantastic time this week celebrating books and having some fun activities based on the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA)'s award-winning books. The winners of each category are shown in the illustration below:

Thank you to all the teachers, parents & students who made this such an enjoyable week. Your costumes were fantastic and we had lots of students discussing their favourite books and chatting about books while deciding which 2nd-hand books to buy and read.  It was great to witness their excitement.

Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge (VPRC)

Book Week is a great time to enter some books into your Reading Challenge, which is finishing on Friday September 8th.  One person who has completed their challenge is

 Eden Lawrie from Year 1.

 Looking forward to presenting you with your certificate in term 4. 

Keep on reading everyone, and remember to mark your books as "finished" when they are completed, so they can be counted towards your total.
