From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for the support you have offered to Katie and the staff during my time away on the Indigenous Immersion.  It is reassuring to know that the staff have such support from the parents.  The experience with the Outer Eastern Zone Principals on Guurriill, Wujal and Buru homelands was very rich and rewarding.  We were fortunate to meet and spend significant amounts of time with elders in these locations.  It was really interesting to hear the diverse range of views held by these people on "The Voice to Parliament" and other current issues.  In the next newsletter I will share with you a more detailed report on this experience.

Father's Day Breakfast:

This Friday is the Annual Father's Day Breakfast which will be held in the SPA centre, followed by a reflection and activities in the classroom. Please see the section in the newsletter in regard to this event and the RSVP Google Form.  Hoping lots of dads can make it for the breakfast at 8:15am followed by a brief reflection and some classroom activities until around 9:30am.
