Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary

We all attended mass on Tuesday, August 15 to celebrate this most Holy of Feast Days for the Catholic Church.  .

In classes, students have been learning more about Mary, the Mother of Jesus and the sacredness of her life and how she listened to God.

Mary also, as the mother of Jesus had direct access to him.  Most classes have read from John's gospel the story of the Wedding at Cana.  In this story, Mary voices a few words we could all aspire to when she directs the wedding staff to Jesus.

Her words - “Do whatever he tells you.”
