News from One/Two

Wow, what a fun couple of weeks for the Year 1/2 class! From the school disco, to book week dressing up and fun robot designing. 

Our robot buddies are coming along nicely and as you can see it will be soon time to place the children's planning into action. Have a look at some of our plans. If you have completed the St Joseph's parent workshop, have a working with children's check, and have an interest in helping the children build their robots then please be in contact and come construct with us! 

Take a look at our wonderful children in all their book-week glory! Can you guess what characters there are? The children and I enjoyed dressing up Mr. Foley as the beautiful butterfly out of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. 

Amongst all of these activities, the children have been busy practicing their Shrek songs for our production and learning about when and how to ask for help. We will have the production costume list for the Prep/1/2 classes soon. 

We are looking forward to seeing all the 1/2 fathers next Friday for our Father's Day breakfast and activities in the 1/2 classroom.
