In Maths, we have been learning all about multiplication. Students have been exploring equal groups, repeated addition and arrays to help build their understanding of multiplication

In Religion, we are learning about what life was like during the time of Jesus. We have been exploring what people ate, where they lived, the jobs they had and what daily life was like during this time.

Our Inquiry learning has been all about dinosaurs! Students have been enjoying learning fascinating facts about different types of dinosaurs, what they looked like, what they ate and how they lived millions of years ago. We have been asking questions, sharing our wonderings and developing our research skills.

In Humanities, we have begun exploring Connections to Country. Students are learning about the importance of Country to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and developing an understanding of the special connections people have with the land, waterways, plants and animals around them.

A big thank you to our families for continuing to send in reading diaries and for supporting your child’s Reading Journey at home. Your encouragement and commitment to regular reading make such a positive difference to your child’s confidence and progress. We love hearing about the books our students are enjoying at home!

A friendly reminder to also make sure your child’s name is clearly labelled on all school jumpers and jackets. This helps us return any lost items to their owners, especially during the cooler months.

Have a lovely week,
