Dear Students, Families, and Parents,

Well done to all of our grade 6 students who competed in the Winter Gala Day, you all represented the school very well! Congratulations to the Girls Netball, Girls Volleyball and Girls Softball who have all made it through to the next round.

Upcoming Sports:

Region Cross Country 20th June

Prep:

The preps have been practicing their single-handed bounce with basketballs to improve their hand-eye coordination. They have been focusing on bending their elbow and then straightening it as they move the ball up and down.

Grades 1 and 2:

The Grade 1s and 2s have been focusing on their bouncing skills with one hand. They have been using their spider hands to be able to grip the ball as well as making sure that they bend their elbows and straighten their arm for every bounce. Students have been swapping arms and have practiced bouncing the ball to their opposite arms.
