Family Engagement

It is hard to believe that the Storytime sessions are now coming to an end as we approach almost the end of Term 3! Monday afternoons in Foundation LW have given new and existing families an opportunity to get to know one another throughout Terms 2 and 3. The children are connecting so well as they engage in some indoor play, craft activities and outside play, adults too are renewing friendships and making some new connections. All of the participants have enjoyed listening to a variety of stories and then enthusiastically participating in a craft activity. During the later weeks ofTerm 3, the children have enjoyed the following stories: “The Butterfly Pop Up Book”, “There’s a Chicken in my House”, “On Daddy’s Shoulders” and “The Inside Dog”. The final session of Storytime for 2026 will be on Monday 14th September. We will celebrate with a small party and an outside play (weather permitting).
