Griffith University Business School Year 10 Ambassadors Program
On Tuesday 2 June, a group of Year 10 Business and Economics students attended the Griffith Business School Year 10 Ambassadors Program at Griffith University's South Bank campus. Throughout the day, students explored future study and career pathways in areas including economics, finance, marketing, tourism and business. They heard from university academics, industry professionals and current students, gaining valuable insights into the opportunities available beyond school.
The experience provided students with a firsthand look at university life while helping them make informed decisions about their senior subject selections and future pathways.
We thank Griffith University for hosting our students and providing such an engaging and worthwhile experience.

Year 11 student Zoe Turner has been selected to participate in the 2026 QUT Future You Summit, a highly competitive four-day program held from 30 June to 3 July across QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses. Zoe was chosen from a talented field of almost 500 applicants from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Zoe was successful in securing a place in the four-day on-campus program, which provides students with opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences, interactive workshops, and sessions with QUT academics and industry professionals. The program is designed to give students valuable insights into university life, future career pathways, and the skills required for success beyond school.
This achievement reflects Zoe's motivation and commitment to her future aspirations. It also acknowledges the support and recommendation provided by her Business Studies teacher, Elizabeth Gerrard, whose endorsement helped Zoe access this opportunity.
Congratulations Zoe!
