Queensland Cup 2026

On Saturday 30 May, five of our students represented The Gap SHS at the QLD E-Sports Cup held at South Band Cafe. 

Congratulations to our group of Year 8, 9 and 10 students: Joel, Joel, Eamon and Logan, and their teacher Mr Darcy Strefford for competing so fiercely on the day. 

Joel P came second in his Gran Turismo Competition, only losing by 100 milliseconds

Some of the other boys made it through the round robin stage to the semi-finals, being narrowly defeated by players from other schools in Rocket League, Brawlhalla, UAFC and Gran Turismo. 

As a team, we placed in the middle of the table, in a highly competitive field - well done everyone.
