Grade 6 has enjoyed two exciting weeks filled with learning and fun!

Read on as 6SK shares what they have been doing and some of their highlights from the fortnight.

I enjoyed figuring out circumference and area of a circle in Maths. - Alfred

Area and perimeter were exciting to learn! - Luna

I enjoyed making a zoo for imaginary animals using my knowledge of area and perimeter with a scale and new shapes. - Avi

We have loved practicing for Gala Day every Monday and everyone always tries their best! - Jhanvi

I enjoyed learning about how bees actually make honey, even though it's a bit gross, and then learning from that, how to plan an explanation. - Lizzie

We have been learning how to create explanation pieces. - Matthew

We used Minecraft Education to calculate area and perimeter for several shapes. - Burhan

Production rehearsals have been fun and we are feeling confident! - Georgia

We have had a great time with our buddies learning lots of things such as making a map of our school, making 'magic hats', and learning about the catastrophe scale. - Eva

In P.E we learnt how to play golf and it was amazing! - Finn. P
