Well done, Bonnie!

Last week Bonnie, in Year 11, competed at the 2023 Australian Tennis Championships where she finished Runners Up in the Women’s Doubles event. 

As an autistic athlete, she has opportunity to compete in disability and mainstream events. She currently has an Inclusion Australian women’s singles ranking of 6th and a doubles ranking of 4th. Her national success comes after doubles runners up in the South Australian and Victorian State Championships in recent months. 

Bonnie trains five days each week, on the court and in the gym, and volunteers as an assistant coach to support other players with disability.
