Nourish News

After an amazing year of running Nourish every Tuesday and Friday for the year, next year sees some amazing changes. Nourish will be running every day of the week. The doors will be open from 8.30am onwards and a group of enthusiastic staff will provide a range of breakfasts. There will be activities and special events and every student that attends Heathmont College will be welcomed. It is a big change that will have a significant impact on staff and students in a positive way. 

On a personal note, I would like to thank all of the staff who have been rostered on to help and who have given up their own time to assist in the mornings. They are a very special group of people and I have had a wonderful year getting to know them. They have enjoyed seeing the students in the mornings and always bring a smile and enthusiasm.  

A special thanks has to go to Mr Leigh Holland. Leigh has worked every morning with me, since Nourish began and has been a constant joy. The students have really enjoyed the conversations that Leigh has had with them, and he has formed a fabulous relationship with a wide range of the students. Thanks Leigh, it will be strange not hanging out with you in the mornings next year.
