Year 7 & 8

Middle School is inspirational

It has been a fantastic start to the term and I want to take a moment to celebrate the achievements and dedication of our wonderful students.

Last Friday’s Interhouse Performing Arts Festival was a true highlight. It was inspiring to witness the incredible talent of so many of our students, particularly our Year 7s and 8s. From music and drama to dance and spoken word, the performances were a credit to the hours of preparation and enthusiasm each student brought to the stage. You made your parents and us all proud!

Walking for Hope

A special commendation to the students who represented our school in the recent Pilgrimage of Hope Walk. It was heartening to see such compassion and commitment from our students: Ellen Watts, Violet Kazim, Eva Thompson, Charlie Hewitt, Scarlett Vuletich, and Anna Jeppesen. Your effort and community spirit did not go unnoticed.

Phones, lockers, uniforms

As we settle into the term, a few reminders:

  • Phones should be stored in lockers during the school day and must not be used.
  • Lockers must be secured with a school-issued combination lock. Replacements can be purchased at Reception.
  • Uniform expectations include the wearing of the universal tie with the top button fastened and blazers worn to and from school daily, as well as to Chapel on Thursdays. The Uniform policy can be found here.

Looking ahead, the Year 8 Camp is just around the corner. A sincere thank you to Miss Sadie Yoxall for her incredible organisation - we are excited for what promises to be a memorable experience.
