One week to go: Who will be crowned Readers' Royale?

With just one week remaining in the Interhouse Readers’ Royale, the competition is heating up. Points will be locked in at the end of lunch next Friday in Week Four, so there is still time to contribute if your House needs a boost. Whether you have been devouring books since Week 1 or are eyeing a late surge, every page could make the difference in this competition as well as the House Cup.

The Readers’ Royale finale is scheduled for Book Week in Week 8. If you’ve enjoyed the competition so far, this main event will be one to watch – more details coming soon!

This week, we also celebrated Languages Week with some of the lunchtime activities taking place in the Library. Monday’s animated short film drew a curious crowd, while Tuesday’s origami session brought a lovely buzz to the space – full of folded paper, focused faces, and a real sense of fun. 

It has been a vibrant week of words, languages, and community. If you have been part of it – thank you. We look forward to seeing more readers enter our doors in the weeks ahead.
