Parent Teacher Interviews 

Our upcoming Year 8–11 Parent Teacher Interviews are open for bookings until 4:00pm on Monday, 19 May. Families will have received invitations via email through our scheduling system.

This term, we are offering two opportunities to meet with your child’s teachers:

  • Tuesday, 20 May (4:00pm – 8:00pm): Face-to-face interviews at our school campus
  • Thursday, 29 May (4:00pm – 8:00pm): Online interviews via Microsoft Teams

Bookings for the online interviews will open at 4:00pm on Thursday, 22 May, and close at 4:00pm on Wednesday, 28 May.

 

There is a slight change to the access process for online interviews this term. 

 

Meeting links will now be available directly through the booking system when you view your personalised schedule. If you encounter any issues accessing the links, please don’t hesitate to contact the school for further support.

Senior School Exams

Semester One examinations are a key milestone in student academic progress and will take place on the following dates:

  • Years 11 & 12: Weeks 5 and 6
  • Year 10: Week 7

Exam Venue: All examinations will be held on Level 5 of our secondary campus at 10 William Street.

 

Timetables: Detailed timetables have been made available and can be accessed below. Please ensure students are aware of their schedule and arrive on time for each examination.

 

Absences: If a student is unable to attend an exam, the school must be notified as early as possible, and a medical certificate is required for any missed formal assessments such as exams. Please notify student reception at your earliest convenience in the event of non attendance.

Attendance Requirements: Students in Years 10–12 are only required to attend school for their scheduled examinations and must wear full winter uniform. Outside of their exams, students may choose to:

  • Study from home
  • Utilise facilities around the city
  • Access the Laurence Library (Level 2) for a quiet, focused environment

Students are expected to attend school as normal until their first scheduled exam.

Pre-exam support

We are excited to once again partner with Elevate Education, specialists in study techniques, motivation, and student wellbeing. This term, Elevate will deliver tailored sessions to support our Years 10–12 students as they prepare for examinations.

Session Details:

YEAR 10: Exam Workshop, Monday, 27 May 8:40am – 9:40am

YEAR 11: Goal Setting & Motivation. Monday, 17 June, 8:40am – 9:40am

YEAR 12: “Finishing Line” – Managing Stress & Wellbeing, Monday, 17 June, 9:40am – 10:40am

 

These sessions aim to equip students with lifelong strategies for effective learning, performance under pressure, and positive wellbeing. Please encourage your child to come prepared to participate and apply these valuable techniques throughout their academic journey.
