Beyond the Haze of ADHD

Do you ever find yourself wondering whether your child’s forgetfulness, fidgeting or big emotions are “just a phase” — or something more? Or maybe you are already supporting a child with ADHD and looking for practical, real-life strategies that actually work?

Join us for our next Parent Guest Speaker Series as we welcome Andrew Hayes — teacher, ADHD coach and lived experience expert - for an evening that will be equal parts insightful and relatable.

Andrew has spent nearly two decades working in education and now combines his professional background with personal experience to support young people (and the adults in their lives) to better understand and thrive with ADHD. He is known for his warm, humorous and no-nonsense approach that leaves parents feeling empowered and less alone in the often confusing world of attention, regulation, and neurodiversity.

This talk is for anyone who wants to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of what ADHD really looks like in kids and teens
  • Learn practical tools to support emotional regulation, focus, and communication
  • Explore how ADHD affects relationships, learning, and daily life at home and school
  • Connect with other parents and carers on a similar journey

Whether your child has a diagnosis, you are in the early stages of exploring support or you are just keen to better understand how young minds work, this is a St George’s event you won’t want to miss.

We hope to see many of you there, bring your questions and curiosity! You’ll walk away with practical tools, fresh perspectives, and a few laughs along the way.

See you there.
