Welcome to 2026 at Epping Boys High School.

It has been wonderful to welcome our students back for the school year. Like the start of every year at Epping Boys High School our focus has been on ensuring all our students start the year with high expectations of themselves and doing the simple things well: 

• Be on time 
• Wear school uniform with pride 
• Work hard in classes 
• Participate fully in school life  

We are calling this year “The Year of the Book” as we are really working on strong student organisation, starting with book work. The reason for this is that a book allows for visibility and evidence of their learning at the end of the lesson and unit of work and hopefully makes revision for summative tasks easier while also increasing fluency and automaticity with student writing.  

I have been very impressed with the calm, positive and engaged manner that our students have started the school year.
