Solli Raphael - Poetry Incursion

I did not know what to expect when I walked into the Lyceum Theatre, but Solli really caught my attention. I really like poems, and I liked how Solli spoke of them with such passion. The way he recited his poems was very magical and had a great flow. The way he changed his tone naturally, and how each word he said was very thought out and meaningful.

He engaged with us making it an interesting performance that left me feeling inspired to write my own poems. He performs his work with such remarkable confidence that make his work truly special. He made me think about why I create my own poetry, and how doing what you love can make a real difference.

Thank so much for coming in, Solli. It is an amazing start to our poetry unit!
