School Council: Nomination Results

We still have three (3) parent vacancies open that need to be filled.

As posted previously, we have five (5) parent positions open on our school council this year. We opened for nominations and received two (2) nominations, so those two people are automatically nominated to school council for 2026/27 without an election. 

We warmly welcome Carmen Powell as a returning member to school council and Jason Ellery as a new member to council. Linda and the existing council are looking forward to working with them this year

If you are being co-opted on to council for one (1) year to short-term fill one of these vacancies then please reach out to the school as soon as possible at hillsmeade.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

The full list of meetings for 2026 will be available to the council in March at the first meeting. Parents must be able to attend the meetings to be on council.

Election oversight will be Business Manager Stewart Johnson.
