Clean Up Australia Day 

On Friday the 27th of February Hillsmeade will be taking part in Clean Up Australia Day for schools. This is a day where we can make a huge difference to our environment. 

On Sunday March 1st, the official Clean Up day you can get out and about in your community and reduce the impact of waste. 

Remember, you can clean up any day - if we work together we can make a huge difference to the place we all live. 

On Wednesdays at Hillsmeade we encourage wrapper free lunchboxes. Instead of packaged items please try to bring reusable containers instead. Wrappers will be counted and the class with the lowest wrappers will win the Golden Bin Trophy! The class who wins the trophy the most throughout the year will win a prize at the end of the year. 

When buying items at the supermarket buying in bulk is usually cheaper and saves on plastic packaging.
