Exciting Opportunity for Year 3–5 Students: Enrol in Children’s University 2026!

We are delighted to invite your child to be part of this year’s Children’s University (CU) program at Hillsmeade Primary School, delivered in partnership with Swinburne University.

Last year’s program was a tremendous success, with many Hillsmeade students enthusiastically participating, logging learning hours, visiting exciting Learning Destinations, and proudly celebrating their achievements. Many of our students reached — and even exceeded — the 30-hour milestone, earning the opportunity to graduate from Swinburne University. The pride and confidence shown at graduation were truly inspiring!

For students who participated last year, re-enrolling means they will continue building on the hours they have already accumulated. Every hour counts towards higher levels of achievement, so returning students can continue their learning journey and aim even higher this year.

Children’s University encourages students to learn beyond the classroom by exploring clubs, community activities, sports, arts programs and educational destinations. Students track their learning in a special Passport to Learning, and after reaching 30 hours, they are invited to attend a formal graduation ceremony at Swinburne University. It’s a powerful way to build independence, resilience, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
