Celebrating Our Arts Community Grant Success!

We are delighted to celebrate the wonderful achievement of Mrs Marika Quinonero, Art Teacher, and Mrs Kathey Coumaros, Performing Arts Teacher, who were successful in securing $20,000 through Manningham Council’s Arts Community Grant Program for Doncaster Primary School’s Belonging in Manningham project, as well as an additional $1,500 grant to support our Smoking Ceremony.

The achievement was recognised at Manningham Council’s Annual Grants Celebration, a special evening on Wednesday the 2nd of September celebrating the outstanding achievements of the 2026 Community Grant Program.

The evening brought together passionate community leaders, dedicated volunteers and local changemakers who have developed and delivered meaningful projects with the support of Manningham Council.

The celebration included:

• Formal recognition of successful grant recipients
• Highlights of community-led initiatives supported through the program
• Opportunities to connect and network with fellow grant recipients, Manningham Council officers and Deputy Mayor Cr Deidre Diamante.

We are particularly proud to acknowledge that these grants were secured through the initiative & dedication of Mrs Quinonero and Mrs Coumaros, who developed the ideas and prepared the application.

Their commitment to enriching our students’ learning experiences, celebrating culture and strengthening our sense of belonging within the Manningham community is truly commendable.
