Year 7s feeling the ROAR

Our Year 7 students participated in a workshop on Monday to explore the ideas of Career Design, Growth Mindset, Gratitude, Telling Your Story and Staying curious. Well done to all student who participated and thought about what makes them ROAR! 

Our career education program encourages students to understand their world while looking ahead and looking around. We work with students to build the foundations to seek opportunities in their futures which will build experiences for a career journey with purpose and sustainability. We hope that the career workshops we have delivered over the year to every year level have assisted them to this end. 

Thanks to Tyson Day and the team at Arrive and Thrive for their work with our school community this year. 

Year 9 Morrisby Program – interviews and catch up

Thanks again to our Year 9 students for their cooperation in Week 2. Due to consultant illness, we were unable to get through all students in that week. We have scheduled a catch-up day on Friday 29 November. Students should keep an eye on their compass schedule for their interview times – we will update on Teams when these are set. 

Class of 2024 – Congratulations

Well done to the class of 2024 on completing classes and commencing their exams. I’m sure everyone is busy during the examination period, and we know you will give it your best. Remember that we are here to support all Yr 12 students throughout term 4 and over the summer break (see table). Don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to catch up for a chat. Appointments can be made via the usual system throughout November and early December.
