Jenkin House Dinner

Tonight was the night where Jenkin were going to create ‘Dynamite’ (Year 11 House Act) on the dance floor as we looked in the ‘One Direction’ (Year 9 House Act) of the school life of the Year 12s and their journey. The house truly embraced the spirit of being ‘All In This Together’ (Year 8 House Act). It made you feel like you just wanted to get up and do the ‘Macarena’ (Year 7 House Act) or the ‘YMCA’ (Year 12 House Act). To start the night the Year 12s arrived in their ‘party bus’ and were escorted in style by the rest of Jenkin. You could feel the excitement in the air as the students of all year levels eagerly awaited their first house dinner in many years. Upon entry the flower wall and many exquisitely crafted Harry Potter themed balloon arrangements were dispersed across the well decorated room. The welcoming blue light overtook the stage as people were prompted to take their seats and the formalities of the evening commenced. All in all it was a wonderful night with lots of dancing and photos in the photobooth.
