LMR Athletics

On Thursday 6th October, 21 keen Girton students made their way to the LaTrobe Athletics complex to compete at the Loddon Mallee Region Athletics Final. The conditions were wet, cold and windy, but our athletes persevered and represented the school with enthusiasm.

Girton ended the day with a total of 27 medals – thirteen 1st places, seven 2nd places and three 3rd places. This is an outstanding effort from our school representatives.

Out of the 21 students who attended the final, we had 11 who then qualified for the State final the following week in Melbourne.
