Our School’s Well Being focus is ‘Respect’; the United Nations declares 2021 the International Year of Peace and Trust.
This is a collection of special events/days to use as a springboard for educational activities, to help students make cultural connections. This will encourage open mindedness and respect.
We are mindful of the importance of our school being Child Safe and the focus Wellbeing – in particular the ‘Principle of Inclusion’. This is one of our goals as a Music team:
“to accommodate the diversity of all children by noting and/or celebrating significant cultural events”.
The Music team looks forward to dipping into some of these special days where meaningful and appropriate, and invite others to do the same.

By participating in Harmony Day activities, we can learn and understand how all Australians from diverse backgrounds equally belong to this nation and enrich it.
