Grevillea House
Serving as House Captains of Grevillea this year has been an unforgettable journey, filled with invaluable leadership lessons and memories we will treasure forever.
Through this role, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of what it means to lead, balance responsibility, decision-making and collaboration. We’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about giving direction but about listening, supporting and empowering others to reach their full potential.
Leading the planning and execution of House events has not only honed our organisational skills but also strengthened the bonds within our House community. One of the most rewarding aspects of the year was witnessing the enthusiasm and participation from students across all year levels. Whether it was our Year 7s getting involved for the first time or our Year 12s leading the way, everyone contributed to making this year’s Athletics and Swimming Carnivals a huge success.
Our House spirit was equally evident during our Chorals and charity events. We rehearsed multiple times a week and all that hard work paid off when we proudly secured 2nd place in this year’s Chorals, a true testament to the passion and teamwork of Grevilleans. We couldn’t have done it without the dedication of every student who took part, and we’re incredibly grateful for your efforts.
A special thank you goes to Mr Doyle and Ms Vrondou, whose guidance and unwavering support helped make all of these achievements possible. Your encouragement meant everything to us.
To all our fellow Grevilleans: it has been an absolute honour to represent you as House Captains. We urge each and every one of you to take on leadership roles when the opportunity arises. You will gain invaluable experiences, learn the true essence of leadership and create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for being part of this amazing journey with us. We will miss you all!
