Banksia House

Greetings,

As many of you know, my name is Jay G, and I have had the privilege of serving as House Captain for Banksia this year. This role has given me the opportunity to push my boundaries, develop my leadership skills and connect with remarkable individuals who have made my final year at Dandenong High School truly memorable.

What I value most about Banksia, apart from it being the best House, is the strong sense of community shared between both staff and students. The enthusiasm, high participation and positive energy that characterise Banksia are what I am going to miss the most as I move on from here.

This year has been amazing. I've had the privilege to work alongside the SRC and the HLT of Banksia to organise several fundraisers throughout Term 3. From selling noodles, hot chocolate, muffins and ice cream, we were able to raise funds, all of which will be donated to the Heart Foundation.

Thank you to all of Banksia for making this year stand out the most.
