Year 11 Biology

During our Year 11 Biology students’ visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Cranbourne, they explored the amazing diversity and wonderful adaptations of the Australian native plants. They learned about the endangered native animal Southern Brown Bandicoot and its role in the Australian arid ecosystem. The students also learned the importance and the steps taken to save this endangered species.

Year 11 Ecolinc Excursion

11 Chemistry students went to Ecolinc to analyse water samples from the Werribee river as a part of preparation for their extended investigation sac. They learnt spectral analysis and conducted a variety of analytical tests to determine the quality of the river water flowing throughdifferent locations of western Melbourne into Port Phillip Bay.
