Fern House

Thank you all for this amazing last year. I can't express how much I’m going to miss everyone as I step into the real world. It’s going to be a new challenge, but I’ll always cherish the memories I’ve made with my classmates, teachers and most of all my friends who I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with over the past six years. 

Being your House Captain has been such a rewarding experience, especially getting to know peers from different year levels. One of the highlights for me was raising money for AusRelief with my partner. We’re proud of how the fundraiser turned out, knowing that our hard work has gone toward helping people in need, which was our main goal all along. I also want to thank everyone for supporting our social service efforts and lunchtime fundraisers. Your enthusiasm made all the difference.

This year has been an incredible roller coaster, filled with unforgettable memories that I will cherish for years to come. It has truly been an honour to serve as your House Captain and I hope I have lived up to your expectations and made your votes worthwhile. I am so proud of how Fern shone across all our school events. Whether it was sports or fundraisers, we came together as a team, showcasing our spirit and talent. 

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our SRC team for their support and dedication. Throughout this journey, I've gained so much from each of you. I am truly grateful to all Fern students for your enthusiasm and commitment, which have inspired me every step of the way. A standout moment for me this year was undoubtedly Chorales. The journey - from the initial planning stages to the unforgettable performance night - was a testament to our teamwork and creativity, and Ali and I were thrilled at the results (we made it on the podium!). 

As I reflect on this year, I am filled with pride for everything we have accomplished together. Let's continue to support one another and keep the spirit of Fern alive in everything we do. I am excited to see what the future holds for each of you and for our wonderful House.
