Callistemon House

Hi everyone, we’re Noon and Ivana, the House Captains of Callistemon. We would like to begin by thanking all the students and teachers in Callistemon for providing us with this opportunity. We would also like to thank everyone who participated in all the House events this year and who contributed to the fundraisers we held.

In Term 3, we welcomed Ms Bowles as our House Leader, and we would like to thank her for her contribution towards the House. After a bit of change, we would like to welcome back Mr Beattie to continue the role of House Leader.

Throughout the last two terms, we have held a couple of fundraisers with the purpose of donating to the cancer institution and we would like to thank everyone who gave their support.

Throughout the year, we’ve enjoyed being part of the student leadership team and learning how to develop our leadership skills alongside everyone else. We were introduced to many new opportunities, such as receiving our personalised blazers, the trip to Canberra, the Ex-Students Association luncheon, all the morning teas, the leadership meetings, and overall helping with organising events. We are very grateful for the new experiences and for everything we’ve been taught.

Thank you all for an amazing year. It has been a pleasure working with the House and all the students. As a final goodbye, we would like to leave you all with a message: enjoy every moment of high school and take every opportunity given to you.
