Congratulations to everyone who has received a Library Award this year!!! The Library Award is in recognition of completing the Library Borrowing Badges “Reading Rockstar” and “Punctuality Pro” for borrowing 40 different books and returning 40 books on time. If you haven’t received an award yet, there is still a little bit of time left as the last day for students to borrow this term is on the 17th of November. After this date all loans will be due back ready for the Library Stocktake.

Please return all student loans by the 28th of November. 

I would also like to Thank everyone, who purchased books through Scholastic Book Club this year. Through your support the library has earned $407 worth of books for the library. Issue 7 closed last week and orders are expected to arrive soon. Issue 8 will be the final issue for the year and will close on the 26th of November.

Please be aware of the following dates as the library is closing soon.

17th of November - all library loans are automatically overdue at 3.30pm. This day is also the last day the library management system will allow students and staff to borrow this year.

November 28th – Last day for students to be in the library. All books need to be returned to the library by this day. Any loan returned after this date will need to be left in the returns tub and checked off missing and overdue lists, so that it will not disrupt the stocktake.

December 1st – Stocktake begins. The library will be closed to all students, as there will be no access to library shelves in addition to electrical cords across the floor. 

Christmas Books will be available for manual borrowing throughout all of December for staff to borrow.

There are a number of students who have overdue books that they claim were returned, hopefully these books will be found in the library or in classrooms and returned. Can you please ask your students to please bring back all library loans that they have at home or in the classroom by the 28th of November.
