Halloween Disco

On Friday 31st October we held our Little Scarers and Big Scarers Halloween discos! Over the last few years these discos have proven to be an absolute favourite with the children which is why we have continued to run them! A huge thank you to Mr Cass, our resident DJ, who gathers song requests the week before, brings his lights and DJ equipment from home and ensures the discos are very fun! Thank you to the parents who plan, set up, volunteer on the day, and pack up- without you it could not run, and you create such a memorable experience for the kids! Money raised from the discos will go towards improving play spaces and playground resources. Class Captains (Student Action Team) are currently gathering ideas from their classes. 

Christmas Raffle

Raffle ticket books will be sent home next week with the oldest child from each family. Each booklet is made up of 12 tickets which you can purchase or sell to family and friends. Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5. We have many amazing prizes to be won, and the raffle will be drawn at our Family Carols evening on Thursday 11th December. All money raised goes back into the school. Please return tickets to your teacher or the office by Monday 8th December. 

Family Carols Night & Christmas Bake Stall

On Thursday 11th December we will hold our school Family Carols evening. Families can pack a picnic, come along to school and watch their child/ren perform a song with their class. The Parents' & Friends' Association will be selling cold drinks and zooper doopers on the night and will also hold our annual Christmas Bake Stall. Instructions for the Bake Stall (along a paper plate and freezer bag) will be sent home the week before the event. Our Bake Stall has been a huge success in recent years with staff and families showing off their baking skills, sharing family recipes and festive treats to sell at our stall! 

Cookbooks for sale- great Christmas gifts!

Our BPS Family Favourites Cookbooks are for sale and make great Christmas gifts for friends and family. Our very special school cookbook, made up of recipes from school families and staff can be purchased for $25 via Qkr, via the school office or will be available to buy at our Family Carols Night.
