Social Enterprise Report

Thank you to everyone who donated items to Big Group Hug on the 14th of October. The school community donated over 450kg worth of items. On top of the donated items the Social Enterprise Program was able to donate $1600 to Big Group Hug. This money will be used for toiletries and other personal items. The donated money was raised through the Chicken Schnitzel Night that was held in August and also from the sales at our morning cafe. Big Group Hug let us know that all donated items were distributed to families in the local community. 

This term the school is raising funds for the CFA. On Friday 24th October the SEP hosted a Chicken Schnitzel Day. There were over 120 orders, and we managed to raise over $300 in profit. Along with the Cafe sales from this term this money will be donated to the CFA at the end of the year. Also, on this day we had a visit from the CFA for an outside school assembly on the oval. The CFA brought a truck and demonstrated what it could do. They also spoke about fire safety and how they help the community.
